This year was a big year for us here at eFileCabinet. With new partnerships, new products, and our first ever user conference, we had a lot of big news rolling out on our blog every month. In this, our final blog of 2015, we wanted to take a look back and remember some of the greatest news we’ve shared this year.
Series B Funding
In June of this year, we were very excited to receive $14 million in Series B funding from Allegis Capital and Signal Peak Ventures. This incredible investment has enabled us to grow, expand, and develop new and exciting products (some of which we’ll be talking about in this list).

Best Mobile DMS
In June, Business News Daily released an article naming eFileCabinet as the best mobile document management solution available. The competition was fierce, and they conducted a lot of research, but in the end, eFileCabinet came out on top due to accessibility and ease of use.

Mobile App Upgrades
Being the best mobile document management software wasn’t good enough for us though. We’re always raising the bar, so in July we rolled out some great upgrades to our eFileCabinet Mobile app. Users can now store, search, and share documents easier than ever before, all from a smartphone or tablet. It’s truly like having a mobile office in your pocket.

Zonal OCR
We’re always looking for innovative ways to save business owners time and money, and to make them more efficient and accurate with their document and data management. To this end, we announced the release of a new addition to our suite of products in July—Zonal OCR. This incredible piece of technology will complete data entry tasks for you instantly and accurately.

Inc. 5000 Award
We were proud to be recognized once again this year on Inc. 5000’s list of the top 5,000 private companies in the United States. We take pride not only in our products, but in our business as a whole—our growth, our culture, and our people. We were ranked 3,743 on the list, a ranking based on growth over the last 4 years, and we hope to make it even higher on the list next year!

Partnership with Sage
We were very excited to announce in August our new partnership with accounting software provider Sage. This partnership has helped and will continue to help bring our software solutions to thousands of accountants and CPAs around the world.

SalesForce Integration
We’re always looking for new ways to make our software more accessible and user friendly. In October, we took that one step further by announcing new, incredible integration capabilities with the popular software SalesForce. This integration allows users to work with incredible ease in eFileCabinet and SalesForce simultaneously.

Edge Conference
This year was the very first year that eFileCabinet offered an educational conference to all of our users. It was such a rewarding and exciting experience for us that we’re already planning 2016’s conference! It was truly a landmark for eFileCabinet to be able to meet our customers face to face and help them create better, more efficient, and more profitable companies. We had classes, workshops, and great keynote speakers, and everyone enjoyed the chance to gather in Las Vegas.

We’re always willing to tell people how great we think our software is, but it’s especially rewarding when a 3rd party recognizes our products for being the exceptional business tools that they are. We thrilled to announce earlier this month that eFileCabinet was named the #1 document management software on Capterra’s top 20 list this year, and we’re striving to top the list again next year.

Our most recent piece of news just hit our blog last week, and it’s all about what’s coming next month—eFileCabinet 2016. We couldn’t be more excited about all of the upgrades and new features that this latest edition of our software will have. With a cleaner look, more user-friendly interface, and the incredible new SideKick, eFileCabinet 2016 is our best product yet.
