Lehi, UT— eFileCabinet, provider of Rubex, the leading document management platform that helps teams and businesses focus on the work that matters most, announced today that it has been recognized by Utah Business Magazine for its annual Best Companies to Work For award. This event recognizes organizations deemed “the best place to work” by their own employees.
Utah Business annually surveys thousands of employees of Utah-based organizations to gauge their satisfaction with multiple aspects of their experiences with the company. This includes not only benefits and compensation, but company culture, management style and regard for each employee’s well-being.
eFileCabinet has been recognized by both its employees and Utah Business for providing the necessary resources and work-life balance for all employees to succeed.
“There are many tech companies in Utah that claim to put their employees first and provide work/life balance,” said an employee surveyed by Utah Business. “What eFC has to offer (in those regards) is miles ahead of what any other tech company offers with it’s four-day workweek and the CEO’s commitment and passion to work/life balance and equal opportunity.”
In the wake of the global pandemic and economic difficulties, eFileCabinet’s management team knew the best way to continue forward was to first and foremost, care for the well-being of its employees.
In the past year, eFileCabinet initiated the well-studied and beneficial practice of four-day workweeks. It’s been proven to be effective in not only maintaining productivity, but improving it. It provides more rest and more attention to the personal lives of employees, so they’re more invigorated to be more successful and driven to make the company succeed.
The company has also been concerned with how the mental health difficulties that the pandemic and everyday stresses can affect employees. In early 2021, eFileCabinet provided employees a new well-being and emotional health service free of charge. The program connects employees to the right resources to manage a wide range of mental health concerns for themselves, family members and friends.
“When eFileCabinet announced the transition to a four-day work week I was honestly in shock. I think it shows a lot of trust in the employees and overall will be a better experience for our clients. This change will allow myself to not only be more productive and driven during the week, but also allows me more time to spend with my son. Which is something I am extremely grateful for,” said Brittany Montgomery, Account Executive.
“A company that is loved by its employees is typically a company that is also loved by its customers. eFileCabinet making the shift to a four-day work week not only makes our employees happy, but it creates a culture of efficiency that trickles down to the customer experience,” said Josh Wood, Partnerships Manager.
